Overview

Welcome to VideoApp (hereinafter "the App"). VideoApp is a tool application that runs on your local area network (LAN), used to discover, connect to, and transfer videos / media content between devices on the same network. We highly value your privacy and strictly comply with the Personal Information Protection Law of China (PIPL), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

Core commitment: The App will not upload any of your personal data or video content to the cloud or any third-party server. All data processing happens on your own devices and within your local network.

Data We Collect

The App does not collect or upload any personal information or content data to the cloud. Specifically:

In the App Store and Google Play "Privacy Nutrition Labels / Data Safety" forms, we truthfully declare: the App collects no data.

Local Network & Permissions

To enable device discovery and media transfer on the LAN, the App uses local network features only after your explicit authorization:

• Local Network permission (iOS): used to discover and connect services on the same Wi-Fi (based on Bonjour/mDNS and similar local discovery protocols).
• Network access permission (Android): used only for communication between devices on the LAN; no external data transmission occurs.

These permissions take effect only within the local network; related data never leaves your LAN.

Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate any third-party advertising, analytics, statistics, or crash-collection SDKs. We will not share, sell, or transmit your personal information to any third party.

Your Rights

Under applicable laws, you have the following rights:

• Access & Correction: you may view or manage local data within the App at any time.
• Deletion: you may delete local data generated by the App at any time; uninstalling the App clears all local data.
• Withdraw Consent: you may disable the local network permission in system settings to withdraw authorization.
• Complaint: if you believe your rights are harmed, you may complain to the local data protection authority.

Because the App collects no personal information that can be linked to you, the above rights can in most cases be exercised simply by "uninstalling the App."

Protection of Minors

The App is not designed for children under 13 (or the local legal age) and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a guardian and become aware of such a case, please contact us.

Policy Updates

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notice or by updating the date on this page. Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
